36-year-old Naved M. Usami was in downtown Nashville late Tuesday night attempting to get into the Bank Of America on Union Street. This alarmed citizens, who called 911 to report the man fighting with the glass door. Officers arrived and noticed Usmani was extremely intoxicated as he explained this building was his hotel. They informed him this was a bank, not a hotel. Usmani was unable to state the name of his hotel, nor was anyone available to retrieve him. He was transported to booking and charged with public intoxication.
