Ryan Evrist charged with punching & kicking ex-girlfriend during Music Square walk

38-year-old Ryan Evrist was jailed Wednesday on an outstanding warrant charging him with the February assault of his ex-girlfriend, Randi Butler. The two were reportedly walking on Music Square East when he became upset with her and began to berate her verbally. As the victim stopped walking to focus on making a phone call to arrange a ride home, she says he kicked her in the leg and then punched her in the face. She says he punched her a second time after she sat in the grass. Officers documented bruising on the victim’s left thigh from where she was kicked.

Ryan Sean Evrist of Ensley Ave in Old Hickory, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on March 15th, charged with domestic assault with bodily injury. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,000.
