Aakash Vasireddy charged with DUI after rolling his vehicle on I-24

23-year-old Aakash Vasireddy was jailed on April 2nd after driving drunk into an exit sign on I-24 and rolling his car over. Police asked him what had happened, and he said he was driving too fast and had lost control. Police could smell alcohol coming from his breath as they spoke to him and asked if he had anything to drink. He admitted he had a few beers and was asked to participate in sobriety testing, which he agreed to and performed poorly on. He could not stand without swaying and consented to a breathalyzer which came back as .141% BAC.

Aakash Vasireddy of Knolls Pl in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on April 2nd, charged with driving under the influence. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $2,500.
