This story is brought to you by Scoop: Nashville as part of the #bspotter / #VisitMusicCity series which features tourist and downtown-related arrests in Music City.
33-year-old Matthew Kirby Tritt was initially found unconscious behind the wheel of his vehicle in West Nashville early Sunday morning. As medical arrived and made contact with Tritt, he awakened and attempted to drive away. They were able to take the keys and prevent him from driving until the police arrived. Officers say Tritt reeked of alcohol and was visibly intoxicated. Tritt initially agreed to a breathalyzer but refused when taken to submit to the test.

Matthew Tritt was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on April 23rd, charged with driving under the influence and implied consent violation. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $3,000.
