24-year-old Zane Morgan now faces a new charge after an April incident at Jason Aldean’s Bar in downtown Nashville. As we previously reported, Morgan was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct. The victim of the aggravated assault that night, Matthew Pozzuto, was able to identify Morgan from a photo lineup after being released from the hospital, and a warrant was issued charging Morgan with felony aggravated assault with serious bodily injury last week. The warrant alleges Morgan approached the victim and shoved a cell phone in his face for an unknown reason. The victim told him to back up, and Zane Morgan then punched him in the face, as seen on a security video. The victim was hospitalized for multiple nasal bone fractures. In a phone interview prior to arrest, Morgan admitted the assault to police.
