24-year-old Stefon Bristol was driving a U-Haul truck at 90 mph on I-40 E late Friday night when he almost flipped it on a curve, according to THP Troopers. A traffic stop was eventually conducted, where Bristol was visibly intoxicated. Inside the vehicle was a nearly empty bottle of whisky that Bristol denied was his. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and eventually admitted he was driving home from a bar.
Stefon Bristol of Camp Creek Cir in Hendersonville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on June 24th, charged with driving under the influence. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $3,000, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave him pre-trial release from their facility.
