28-year-old Cassandra Penick was kicked out of Kid Rick’s bar twice for being too intoxicated, and Trooper Brian Glenn found her outside the back door on Saturday night, where she ran back into the building. Trooper Glenn saw Cassandra stumbling while walking, so he detained her for public intoxication. A search of her person yielded an identification card from Kentucky positively identifying her. He reported that she had physical signs of intoxication, and she contorted her body while being placed into custody. After being handcuffed, Trooper Gleen said that she tried slipping the handcuffs off, but she was transported to Davidson County Jail. While at the jail, she performed sobriety tests showing signs of intoxication.
Cassandra Fay Penick was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on August 27th, charged with public intoxication. She is free on a $100 bond.
