38-year-old Kusimagaly Arruntegui was observed being restrained by a male as they crossed the street at 5th & Broadway in downtown Nashville Saturday night. A THP Trooper stopped the pair to check on her welfare and observed her to be extremely intoxicated and unable to stand without the male’s assistance. They were advised to either arrange transportation back to a safe place or she could be arrested for public intoxication. Arruntegui then became irate while screaming profanities. She broke away from the grasp of the male and ran into traffic. Officers took her into custody and transported her to booking.
Kusimagaly Mendez Arruntegui was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on September 2nd, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $100.
