Darrin Langston charged with assaulting stepmother at Opry Mills Mall

20-year-old Darrin Langston was detained by Opry Mills Mall security after he pushed his stepmother during an argument. The police spoke to the stepmother, Andrea Young, who said the argument started after Darrin was upset at his father. The push left a red mark on her chest and hit her 9-year-old daughter in the back, causing a red mark. Darrin admitted striking the child but said he did not push Andrea. A witness, Christy Perry, told police that she did not know any of the parties involved but saw the entire incident. She said that she saw Darrin push Andrea and hit the 9-year-old girl.

Darrin Louis Langston was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on September 2nd, charged with two counts of domestic assault with bodily injury. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $2,000.
