33-year-old Matthew Lawrence Shanklin was sleeping in his running car in the parking lot of International Plaza in the early hours of December 2nd. Officers were patrolling Nashville International Airport when they noticed this. Shanklin advised officers when they arrived that he had been drinking in Downtown Nashville for the last eight hours. Officers observed him to be visibly intoxicated as he refused to perform sobriety tests. Shanklin was taken into custody for driving under the influence and implied consent.
Matthew Lawrence Shanklin of Meadow Ridge Circle in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on December 2nd, charged with DUI and implied consent. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $2,500, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave him pre-trial release from their facility.
