19-year-old Arye Ismail Tahir sped around an ambulance with its emergency lights on driving on Broadway on December 17th. Officers observed this, conducted a traffic stop on his dark-colored dodge charger, approached the driver’s side door, and Tahir fled, swerving around other vehicles, putting pedestrians at risk. They were able to review their body cam, which showed Tahir as the driver. He was taken into custody on December 19th for failing to stop for an emergency vehicle, evading arrest, and reckless driving.
Arye Ismail Tahir of Glenpark Drive in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nasville Jail on December 19th, charged with reckless driving. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,000.
