31-year-old Brian Doherty was extremely intoxicated on Broadway late Sunday night. A taxi driver flagged officers down regarding Doherty being inside his taxi but refusing to provide a destination to where he was going. Officers spoke with him and noticed his level of impairment as he repeatedly refused to give his address. Officers believed he was a danger to himself, placed him in custody for public intoxication, and transported him to booking.

Brian Doherty was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on January 21st, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $100.
