DUI: Marco Coleman speeds down I-24 after having 10 drinks before driving

37-year-old Marco Deshun Coleman was speeding and swerving between lanes on I-24 late May 18th. Officers observed this and conducted a traffic stop, where Coleman drifted into the right shoulder lane before stopping abruptly. When officers approached, they noticed Coleman showed signs of intoxication, so they asked him to provide his driver’s credentials. Then, Coleman admitted to drinking ten alcoholic beverages before driving. Coleman consented to sobriety tests and performed poorly. Coleman was taken into custody for driving under the influence on May 19th.

Marco Deshun Coleman of Grapevine in Smyrna, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on May 19th, charged with driving under the influence. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,500, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave him pre-trial release from their facility.
