Charity Patton pours gas on herself and cars, ignites one of the cars on fire with person inside

Charlie Tally says he was sitting in a vehicle on Phillips Street talking to some friends when 33-year-old Charity Patton suddenly poured gasoline on and around the vehicle he was in, lighting it on fire. The rear of the vehicle went up in flames. Officers located her in a nearby parked vehicle, where she was attempting to hide in the back seat. She was also covered in gasoline, as was the vehicle she was covered in. At the time of her arrest, she had an outstanding warrant from the night before, when she reportedly slashed her sister’s tires after she refused to give her money.

Charles Michael Graham Jr. charged with sexual battery of female roommate during a massage

35-year-old Charles Graham, a Librarian Assistant at Fisk University, is charged with the sexual battery of his female roommate, who says he touched her sexual areas without consent and became aroused during a massage. Heaven Pryor told police Graham, who is her roommate, offered to give her a massage, and she accepted. She says she told him she was “gay as f–k”, and was not into him in any sexual way. She says Graham moved from her back to her buttocks and then to her public areas and other parts of her body, each time with her having to tell him to stop. She states he also stopped multiple times due to getting aroused. He is free on a $2,000 bond.

Man charged with sexual battery of pregnant girlfriend — Jose Armando Espinoza

40-year-old Jose Espinoza is charged with the sexual battery of his pregnant girlfriend. She reports to police that he became upset when she didn’t want to have sex and threw her to the ground, then used one of his hands to grab her pubic area repeatedly. She crossed her legs to prevent penetration, at which time he reportedly slapped her in the face. The two then argued about an STD and a stolen vehicle, at which time he again forced her to the ground.

70-year-old Leonard Johnson strikes man with vehicle, confesses he “made a bad choice”

70-year-old Leonard Johnson is free on pre-trial release after police say he purposefully drove into a pedestrian near the side of the roadway on 28th Ave N. just after 8 a.m. Thursday. The victim, Michael Cheatham, states he was standing on the side of the road when Johnson drove up to him and demanded he move, immediately. When Cheatham pointed out there was no traffic in either lane, and nothing blocking him from continuing on his way, Johnson drove into him, striking him with the vehicle before fleeing the scene. After police caught up with him, he admitted to running over the man and stated he “made a bad choice and should not have done this”

Dontae McFarlane pulls knife on roommate when his weed goes missing #arrested

Nashville Police say 19-year-old Dontae McFarlane came home in the early hours of Friday morning and found that his marijuana was missing from his room. He reportedly became upset with his roommate, Remarr Parnell, and grabbed a knife. While pointing it at him, he asked “so what are we going to do now?”. Parnell says this made him fear for his life and told them “I’m not going to lose my life because of him”. Another roommate confirmed the events when police arrived.

August Lee Church charged in road rage incident that ended with her pulling a gun on the victim

25-year-old August Lee Church faced multiple charges after a road rage incident. Remica Brown says she was driving home from work when a person, later identified as Church, rammed her vehicle multiple times and fled to a nearby apartment complex. Remica was able to follow her and confront her, however, Church then pulled a gun and threatened to shoot her. Police eventually identified her and issued warrants for her arrest, charging her with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism.

Keosha Glenn pulls gun after scuffle with Wendy’s employee; says she’ll wait outside to “air it out”

Police say 18-year-old Keosha Glenn got into a fight with an employee of a South Nashville Wendy’s Tuesday that spilled into a fight in the parking lot. When the employee went back inside, Glenn reportedly pulled a gun from her waistband, stating she would just wait for her to come outside, as she was about to “air it out”. As officers responded to the scene they encountered Glenn, who claimed she had no gun. A pat-down revealed a black Taurus G3 in her waistband.

Cathy Turner walks out of Walmart with $30K in cash — then confesses, then withdraws her statement

61-year-old Cathy Turner is free on a $5,000 bond after confessing to walking out of the Walmart cash room, where she worked, with $30,860.00 according to police. Walmart management discovered a $13,700 deposit shortage on March 7th, and after reviewing security footage it was discovered that employee Cathy Turner was taking cash from the cash room and taking those bags to the restrooms in the rear of the store, where she then would leave the store with it.

Additional research discovered her taking $7,600 on February 6th, and another $9,500 on February 19th. She provided a written statement to Walmart Loss Prevention during an interview. When she spoke with police, she stated “I know this was wrong, I’ve never done anything like this before”, then requested to withdraw the written statement she had provided.

Jasmine Toler warns man she’s going to run over him with her Buick — and follows through with it

Jamaine Miller says he was in an argument with 19-year-old Jasmine Toler at Coleman Park and he got out of the vehicle. She warned him she was going to run over him, but he did not believe her. It was at that time, he realized the gravity of his underestimation of her intentions as she struck him at speed with her black Buick and he rolled over the hood and crashed to the ground as she fled and stashed the vehicle in Antioch before returning to her grandmother’s home. Miller stumbled to Nolensville Pike and contacted 911 with the help of a nearby citizen. Police found him freshly bruised with a large gash and bump on his head and abrasions on both legs. The victim was transported to the hospital.
