19-year-old Damondre Hayes faces multiple weapon and drug charges after an officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle he was a passenger in on January 26 when the license plate returned as not on file and did not have a functioning license plate light. As officers approached the red Nissan Altima, a bag of marijuana was in plain view in the front seat. All occupants were removed, and Hayes was found with 5.5 grams of cocaine, 31.6 grams of marijuana, and a Glock handgun.

Damondre Hayes of Hickory Club Dr in Antioch, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on January 27th, charged with possession of a weapon during the commission of a dangerous felony, possession of a schedule II drug with intent to sell, possession of a schedule VI drug with intent to sell and unlawful use of drug paraphernalia. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $20,000.
