29-year-old Jordan Martin was arrested for assault after allegedly pushing a woman he was sub-letting to. On Feb 18th, officers were dispatched to a Wendy’s on Gallatin Pike to meet with Cassandra McCowen, who claims she was trying to pack her things at a residence on Zophi St. where she subleases a room from Jordan. McCown has been living at the home since March 2022. She and Jordan have a history of verbal disturbances at this address. McCown and her friend Chad Lennert were removing her property from the home when Jordan returned home. Jordan and McCowen got into an argument that turned physical, once he pushed her out of the home. McCown stated that the push did not injure her, but she felt it was offensive and provocative. The police interviewed Lennert as the witness, and he was able to confirm the details of the incident. Officers tried to make contact with Jordan, but he didn’t answer the door, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
