Police questioned McCabe for his side of the story, and he claimed ed that someone had hit him. He smelled of alcohol and was unsteady on his feet. McCabe had pinpoint pupils that didn’t respond to light or other stimuli. He performed poorly on field sobriety tests and became uncooperative and angry when placed into handcuffs.
