50-year-old Rachel Wilson was jailed on July 15th after police observed her driving in the wrong direction on Terminal Drive in her white Toyota Camry. When the officer tried to pull her over, she stopped abruptly in the road. Ms. Wilson seemed lethargic and slurred her words. She fumbled multiple papers around while getting her registration. The officer had to ask her multiple times for her license before she finally got it out of her wallet. She agreed to sobriety tests and performed poorly, losing balance. She was placed under arrest and asked officers to grab her medications. The officers located more than 20 different prescription pill bottles. Ms. Wilson told the officer that she took all of her morning medications at 2 am. She also mentioned that she doesn’t know what exact medications she takes due to her mom controlling the medications she takes and that she was unaware of their effects.
