45-year-old Sarah Tunku was found on the sidewalk outside of Teddy’s Tavern in downtown Nashville in the early hours of Sunday morning. Officers had received calls of an intoxicated woman lying on the ground at the location. She was visibly intoxicated and had trouble speaking and standing. She refused all attempts of medical treatment and refused transport to a hospital. She was placed into custody and charged with public intoxication.
Sarah Tunku was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on August 13th, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set her bond at $500.
