23-year-old Marquael Clinger was observed walking with multiple inflated balloons in the area of the Walk of Fame Park just outside the Phish concert in downtown Nashville this weekend. Officers described a sea of fifty to one hundred people who were all partaking in inhaling nitrous oxide via inflated balloons. Officers noted some were talkative; some were talking about how high they were; some were quiet, while others vomited. Clinger admitted to selling balloons for $10 each.
Marquael Clingner of N York Street in Pottstown, PA, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on October 7th, charged with toxic vapors. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $2,000, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave him pre-trial release from their facility.
