This story is brought to you by Scoop: Nashville as part of the #bspotter / #VisitMusicCity series which features tourist and downtown-related arrests in Music City.
24-year-old Ki’Eric Hicks was jailed on November 19th when officers responded to Margaritaville Hotel on John Lewis Way for reports of a man acting abnormally. Hicks was running around the lobby and spinning on the floor. He urinated in the hotel’s fire room. He was visibly intoxicated and speaking rapidly about irrelevant things. Hicks yelled at his friend, who was trying to help him up to their room. He yelled at the hotel staff and wouldn’t calm down long enough to tell officers what was happening. Officers believed that Hicks was under an intoxicant and could not care for himself or accept care from others. Ki’Eric has charges as recent as September for possession of a handgun while under the influence, driving under the influence, and leaving the scene of an accident as well.
Ki’Eric Hicks was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on November 19, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $250.
