37-year-old Kirin Haller was involved in a vehicle accident just after 9 p.m. Friday. Officers rolled up on the crash on East Trinity Lane near Ellington Parkway. Haller reportedly stumbled as she exited her vehicle and had trouble balancing as she spoke with officers. She could not articulate what happened to cause the accident and reportedly reeked of alcohol. She repeatedly asked the same question even after being given an answer and seemed very confused. She performed “very poorly” on field sobriety tests and was taken into custody for driving under the influence.
