26-year-old Andrew Boesel was drunkenly walking on the roadway near Charlotte Pike & 31st Ave just before 4 p.m. Monday, according to at least three callers to emergency services. He was stumbling when officers arrived and grabbed onto a stranger to balance himself. He reportedly reeked of alcohol and had attempted to enter someone’s car. He told officers he had been walking downtown and asked to be released so he could “continue his journey.” At one point during the interaction, he believed responding officers to be his Uber ride. For his safety, Boesel was taken into custody and charged with public intoxication.
Andrew Fitzgerald Boesel was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on January 8th, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $250.
