29-year-old Brandon Allen Nixon stole from the ULTA at Thompson Lane on January 5th. VUPD met with Chomchanok Aruno, a manager at ULTA, who advised them that she observed Nixon conceal several items in his pants. Officers noticed Nixon walking past the register and out the door with a bottle of Ralph Lauren Romance cologne in his waistband. A subsequent search yielded two additional colognes: a bottle of Coach Love EDP in his back pocket and a bottle of Dior Savage Parfum in his left pocket. The total of all the merchandise was $422. The incident was caught on camera, and officers were told that ULTA wished to prosecute the theft. Nixon was taken into custody for theft of merchandise.
