34-year-old Melanie Leanne Miller had to be removed from Jason Aldean’s Bar on Broadway due to her level of intoxication in the early hours of March 3rd. Miller spoke with the police when they arrived, advising them that she wished to make a report regarding people being homophobic at the bar. When officers completed the report, they attempted to get a taxi for Miller, but she refused to enter it. Miller reeked of alcohol as she stated that she had friends coming down to meet her. Then, officers observed Miller as she stood on the corner between Jason Aldean’s and Broadway Brewhouse, where she was told to leave the establishment moments later. Miller began asking officers for their names and badge numbers, berating them for not displaying either on their vests. Officers deemed her a danger to herself and others. Miller was placed into custody for public intoxication.
