32-year-old Dillion Waller sent threatening texts to his ex-girlfriend, Jocelyn Moran Daza, from February 13th to March 9th. On March 9th, Daza alerted the authorities, explaining that Waller sent her messages like, “Answer the phone, or I will come to shoot up your house,” and, “It is not a threat. It is a promise,” which was heard from a recording. Daza said she tried to minimize contact with him, but he called through alternative or blocked phone numbers. These actions put Daza in fear, and officers offered to assist her in prosecuting him. Waller was taken into custody for assault on March 9th.
Dillion M Waller of Sheffield Drive in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on March 10th, charged with assault. He is free on a $2,000 bond.
