Alabama Tourist Matthew Minetree taken to ground during fight involving multiple men on Broadway

21-year-old Alabama tourist Matthew David Minetree was one of multiple males fighting on the corner of Rep. John Lewis Way and Broadway in the early hours of March 17th. Officers observed him engaging in a physical altercation as they approached, so they tried to detain him. However, Minetree kept pulling away after being told to stop resisting, prompting officers to take him to the ground. Minetree was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Matthew David Minetree of Park Blvd in Shefield, Al, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on March 17th, charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. He is free on a $750 bond.
