27-year-old Alisha Howland was involved in an altercation with her sister, Abby Howland, at their Dellway Drive residence on March 22nd. Officers arrived at the mentioned location and made contact with Alisha. Alisha told officers she had an argument with Abby that led to a fight. Alisha went on to say that while they were fighting, Abby bit her several times and pulled her hair out. Officers observed scratch marks all over Alisha’s body and several bite marks that were bleeding.

Shortly after, officers contacted Abby, who stated that she only argued with Alisha because Alisha said she was “the glue that held their family together.” Abby also noted that Alisha hit her first and pulled her hair out as well. Officers observed that Abby had multiple bruises, scratches, and some clear indications of her hair being pulled out. During the investigation, officers spoke with a neighbor of the sisters, Morgan Lewis. He said the sister’s altercation woke him up, so he investigated. Lewis informed law enforcement that he saw Abby on top of Alisha fighting. Lewis advised that he didn’t know who started the fight. Officers could not determine a primary aggressor. Alisha Howland and Abby Howland were taken into custody and charged with domestic assault.
