29-year-old Anthony Evans was speeding near Mile Marker 54 on I-24 West late at night on April 16th. Officers observed him going 90 mph in a 70 mph zone and tried to initiate a traffic stop. Evans proceeded to ignore their emergency equipment and kept driving. He got off at the Harding Place Exit, turned left onto Antioch Pike, and stopped once he reached his job at Space Park South. This is where officers detained Evans and cited him for speeding. Evans was then taken into custody for evading arrest on April 17th.
Anthony Evans was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on April 17th, charged with evading arrest. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,000.
