50-year-old Quyen Nguyen had a domestic incident with his wife, Ha Nguyen, at their Windsor Green Boulevard apartment late April 25th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Mr. And Mrs. Nguyen, who advised them that Quyen believed his wife was having an affair with another man. Quyen confronted her about it, which sparked an argument. Ha became upset and stated she would call her aunt, which angered Quyen. Quyen explained he felt that her aunt only antagonizes their domestic situations because she calls her “every single time.” Then, Quyen tried to grab Ha’s phone, knocking it out of her hand onto the floor. In response, Ha picked up the phone and slapped him on the side of his upper arm. Quyen turned and punched her left arm, leaving visible redness and light bruising before pushing her away. Quyen Nguyen was deemed the primary aggressor and was taken into custody for domestic assault on April 26th.
Quyen Nguyen was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on April 26th, charged with domestic assault. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $1,000.
