Ricky Kidd II charged with reckless endangerment after interstate crash

19-year-old Ricky Kidd II was involved in a multi-vehicle accident on I-24 West near Mile Marker 64.4 late Wednesday night. Officers observed Kidd speeding past them in his white Infiniti, making several lane changes without signaling before causing a collision with two other vehicles. They approached Kidd and detained him. Officers went to the other vehicles and discovered a 3-month-old with minor injuries from the crash. They spoke with Kidd, who admitted to seeing the police on the interstate, adding that he would not have stopped if they had activated their emergency equipment. When they spoke with the other drivers, they were advised that Kidd struck them while trying to change lanes. Kidd was taken into custody for reckless driving and reckless endangerment.

Ricky Kidd II of Montgomery Avenue in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on May 23rd, charged with reckless driving and reckless endangerment. He is free on a $6,000 bond.
