Jeremy Teter charged with DUI after crashing into parked car

Police say 32-year-old Jeremy Teter crashed into a parked car on 5th Ave North in the early hours of Friday morning. First responders reported he reeked of alcohol and seemed confused with slurred speech. He refused all field sobriety testing and chemical/breath testing. Inside his vehicle was a loaded pistol wedged between the driver’s seat and the center console.

Jeremy Scott Teter of Monticello Street in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on June 23rd, charged with driving under the influence, possession of a handgun while under the influence, and implied consent violation. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $3,000, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave him pre-trial release from their facility.
