23-year-old Zachary Skelton was drinking at the bar inside the Moxy Hotel in downtown Nashville late Monday night when he reportedly pushed a drink at the bartender and began to act aggressively. Hotel security advised he had to leave the property and walked him out the door. Once outside, Skelton began pulling on the door to get back inside and eventually pulled it off the hinges, causing the staff to set off the burglary alarm to alert the police. Offices arrived and spoke with Skelton, who initially said he had four shots of liquor, but later revised the amount to “six or seven.” Due to his level of intoxication, he was taken into custody and transported to booking.
