DUI: Edward Anthony Lang charged after rear-ending police vehicle downtown

24-year-old Edward Anthony Lang blew two times over the legal limit after hitting Officer Diesel’s patrol vehicle. An Entertainment District Unit officer spoke to Officer Diesel, who said that a pickup truck hit his car in the early hours of Friday morning. The truck was parked behind him in downtown Nashville, and the vehicle’s driver was Edward. He looked intoxicated, admitted to drinking, performed poorly on sobriety tests, and blew a 0.209% BAC.

Edward Anthony Lang of Fatherland St in Nashville, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on August 4th, charged with driving under the influence. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $3,500, and the Davidson County Sheriff’s Office gave him pre-trial release from their facility.
