31-year-old Matthew Johnson was extremely intoxicated on Broadway in downtown Nashville late Saturday night. Officers say he was refusing to leave Luigi’s Pizza when they approached and attempted to assist him with locating a ride back to his home or hotel. He refused to provide a taxi driver with an address and stated he was not ready to go home. Officers took him into custody and transported him to booking.
Matthew Johnson was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on October 7th, charged with public intoxication. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $100.
