33-year-old Justin Lamar Bean, car salesperson at Don Franklin Auto, publicly urinated on the 1st Avenue South side of ACME Feed and Seed on December 31st. Complainants witnessed this and alerted officers, advising them that when they addressed Bean urinating, he kept his penis out in public view, twirling it around while walking towards them. They stated that Bean asked them if they wanted to have sex with him while holding his exposed genitals. This sparked a heated argument between Bean and the complainants. Officers observed Bean getting in one of their faces, threatening to fight them. Officers approached Bean and noticed he was visibly intoxicated, accusing the other party of taking his hat, which he found in his hoodie shortly after. Officers offered to flag down a taxi, but Bean continued belligerently shouting at someone on the phone. He refused to call Uber, admitted to having at least four shots of alcohol, and was unable to tell officers where he lived. Bean was deemed a danger to himself and others, so they detained him. They located a baggie of cocaine and other pills in his front left coat pocket, and he was taken into custody for public intoxication and simple possession.
Justin Lamar Bean of W Oak Street in Louisville, KY, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on December 31st, charged with possession or casual exchange and public intoxication. He is free on a $1,100 bond.
