23-year-old Samuel Lusty was jailed Saturday after slashing the tires of his girlfriend, Kristin Lusty, and her roommate, Abigail Clark, as he was upset about the end of a relationship. Police say Lusty and Kristin Cowart broke up Friday evening after arguing all day. Lusty reportedly became angry and began to threaten to beat up Cowart, and also get her jumped by his friends. Lusty then slashed the rear tires of Cowart’s Ford Escape, and the left rear tire of her roommate’s Nissan Altima. Lusty had fled the scene before officers arrived but was apprehended a short time later.
Samuel Hunter Lusty of Damper Ave in Greenbrier, TN, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on February 3rd, charged with two counts of vandalism and domestic assault. He is free on a $3,000 bond.
