22-year-old Edward Hunter Brown threatened one of his neighbors, Jaimen Killian, at the Lewis Street Apartment Complex on June 30th. When officers arrived, they spoke with Killian, who stated that he was outside on his balcony when Brown threatened to kill him while holding a knife. Police were previously at this location on June 29th regarding similar threats, during which officers advised Brown to stay away from Killian and that he could be arrested if he continued threatening him. Melody Hartmire, a witness, spoke with officers and corroborated Killian’s statements. Brown was later taken into custody for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Edward Brown was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on June 30th, charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. A judicial commissioner set his bond at $10,000.
