This story is brought to you by Scoop: Nashville as part of the #bspotter / #VisitMusicCity series which features tourist and downtown-related arrests in Music City.
49-year-old tourist Timothy Confair was jailed after holding his wife down against her will after a night of drinking downtown. Police spoke with Tammie Confair, who had visible cuts on her hands. When she got back to the hotel room, she started packing her things. When Timothy returned to the room, he pushed her onto the bed and held her down by squeezing her hands. She was eventually able to push him off with her legs. Timothy told police that he only held his wife down so she wouldn’t try to leave the hotel and drive while she was drunk. They spent the night together, and Tammie called the police in the morning.
Timothy Confair of Prospect Ave in Lock Haven, PA, was booked into the Metro Nashville Jail on April 25th, charged with domestic assault with bodily injury. He is free on a $1,000 bond.
