34-year-old Joseph Travis Green attacked Carlie Nicole Carter at Whiskey Row on Broadway in the early hours of March 8th. Witnesses waved down the police and advised them that Green was walking down 4th Avenue South. Police then located and detained Green. Officers spoke with Carter, who advised them that Green came up from behind and punched her, which was witnessed by Mark McCarthy. McCarthy then chased Green down to stop him after seeing the assault. Then officers spoke with Green, who reeked of alcohol as he advised them that he assaulted Carter because she was messing with his baby’s mother.
